Yes, by going to "Your Account" and selecting the appropriate link in "Your Profile."

 

How do I log in?

You can log in by either clicking the buttons called "Log In" or "Your Account" or the "Bid" button on a lot detail page.  Then, simply follow the instructions.

 

How do I log out?

You can log out by clicking the "Log Out" button at the top left of your screen.  (The log out button is only visible when you are logged in.)

 

Why do I need to register to create an account?

Registration information provides the email address for online bid confirmations and the billing address for successful bidders.

 

What if I forget my password?

What if I forget both my username and password?

For security reasons, our staff does not have access to this information. It may help you to remember that usernames and passwords must be at least 6 characters long, with no spaces.  If you think you know your username, see the next question.  If you are not able to remember your username and password, we recommend that you re-register. Collection information for each auction is available from the registration to other locations.

 

What if I can't collect purchased property soon after the auction?

Administration, handling and insurance charges will be due where collection is delayed beyond the period noted in the catalogue and the collection information for your auction.

 

Who arranges shipping?

Buyers and sellers arrange shipping and may use their own.

  

Are there restrictions in shipping to other countries?

Certain property sold at auction may be subject to laws governing export from the country where it was purchased and import into another country.  It is the buyer's responsibility to be aware of these restrictions and obtain any relevant licenses.  For details, please contact your customs agent, an international shipper.

How much will it cost to sell property at theArtAuction?

theArtAuction  operates a sliding scale of commission charges for sellers based on a client's selling activity during a year.  Please refer to this commission sliding scale:

 

Less than $1,000.00 is 15%

From $1,001.00 to $10,000.00 is 10%

From $10,001.oo to $50,000.00 is 7%

From $50,001.oo to $100,000.00 is 6%

From $100,001.oo to $500,000.00 is 5%

From $500,001.oo to $1,000,000.00 plus is 3%

 

After the auction

 

How will I learn the sale price of my property?

Soon after the auction theArtAuction.net mails out a post-sale notification listing the final bid price or, in the event that the property failed to sell, a notification that your property was bought in.

 

What if my property fails to sell?

We suggest you contact a specialist for advice on whether to re-offer the property.

 

When will I receive payment?

Approximately 35 days after the auction theArtAuction.net sends payments, assuming that purchasers have paid theArtAuctionnet.
